We help and support anyone with an asbestos related disease. We support people throughout the East Midlands as well as Burton on Trent and Peterborough. We offer advice and support with welfare benefits uptake including the Government Compensation Schemes. We offer advice about making a civil claim. As well as acting as a support group. We also offer bereavement support.

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1. TO RELIEVE PERSONS SUFFERING FROM ASBESTOS RELATED DISEASES, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN THE EAST MIDLANDS AND ITS ENVIRONS WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, ILL HEALTH OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL OR OTHER DISADVANTAGE, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF ADVOCACY, SUPPORT, EDUCATION, PRACTICAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE INCLUDING BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT FOR THOSE BEREAVED THROUGH ASBESTOS RELATED DISEASE. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELEVANT TO ASBESTOS RELATED DISEASES INCLUDING THE HAZARDS POSED TO HEALTH BY ASBESTOS. 3. TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ILL-HEALTH OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE EAST MIDLANDS AND ITS ENVIRONS SUFFERING BEREAVEMENT OR LOSS THROUGH ASBESTOS RELATED DISEASE BY THE PROVISION OF EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND PRACTICAL ADVICE TO SUCH PERSONS. 4. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELEVANT TO ASBESTOS RELATED DISEASES. 5. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELEVANT TO THE HAZARDS POSED TO HEALTH BY ASBESTOS.
