THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG HOMELESS AND ABUSED WOMEN IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH(I) THE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF SHOEBOXES FILLED WITH GIFT ITEMS AND OTHER IN-KIND DONATIONS TO THE RESIDENTS OF SHELTERS FOR HOMELESS AND ABUSED WOMEN;AND(II) THE ENGAGEMENT IN GENERAL SUPPORT OF SHELTERS FOR HOMELESS AND ABUSED WOMEN THROUGH THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS, THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE WITH FUNDRAISING AND THE PUBLICISING OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
