The Sea Cadets aims to provide young people aged 10- 18 with an environment in which they can choose what they learn from a wide range of stimulating subjects and have fun while doing so. The Cadets learn about life skills and general knowledge that will help them progress in other areas including the history and the traditions of the Sea Cadets and the Royal Navy

Charitable objects
The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).
