THE KNARESBOROUGH PLAYERS HAVE OWNED THE FRAZER THEATRE SINCE 1983. THE THEATRE PROVIDES AFFORDABLE ACCESS TO LOCAL AMATEUR GROUPS INCLUDING YOUTH GROUPS AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. THE FRAZER THEATRE IS A NOT FOR PROFIT COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE, STAFFED AND MANAGED BY VOLUNTEERS. IT IS ENTIRELY SELF-FUNDED, RECEIVING NO MAINTENANCE GRANTS OF ANY KIND FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT OR OTHER SOURCES.
