Charitable objects
(1) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF HER MAJESTY'S ARMY AND PARTICULARLY THE CORPS IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY DECIDE; AND (2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE (A) IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND (B) ARE SERVING OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE CORPS, THE CHILDREN OR DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS, OR CHILDREN OR DEPENDANTS OF SERVING OR FORMER MEMBERS OF THE CORPS WHO HAVE DIED ("THE BENEFICIARIES").
