THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 4 TO 19 IN THE FOLLOWING LOCAL AUTHORITY WARDS: HEATONS NORTH; HEATONS SOUTH; BURNAGE; DIDSBURY EAST; DIDSBURY WEST; NORTHENDEN; CHORLTON PARK; CHORLTON; WHALLEY RANGE; FALLOWFIELD; OLD MOAT; WITHINGTON; AND LEVENSHULME:- 1) TO ADVANCE THEIR PHYSICAL EDUCATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES AND COACHING FOR FOOTBALL; AND 2) TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES, SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE.
