FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF DOGS IN ROMANIA IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION, AND IN PARTICULAR TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF STRAY DOGS OR DOGS IN PUBLIC DOG SHELTERS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, NEGLECT OR MALTREATMENT, BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE AND TREATMENT (INCLUDING VETERINARY TREATMENT) OVER AND ABOVE THAT WHICH IS AVAILABLE AT THOSE SHELTERS, AND TO EDUCATE OR INFORM THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO DOG WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG DOGS.
