Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF MUSIC, IN PARTICULAR BY:
A) SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING THE LEARNING OF MUSIC IN SCHOOLS AND TO ENABLE SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PUPILS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE, TO DEVELOP A LOVE OF AND A PASSION FOR MUSIC;
B) SUPPORTING AND ENABLING MUSICAL PROJECTS TO TAKE PLACE THAT INVOLVE WHOLE COMMUNITIES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE YORKSHIRE AND LINCOLNSHIRE AREA.
