THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL/EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF PEOPLE RESIDING IN SOUTH LAKELAND WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL/EMOTIONAL HEALTH ISSUES IN PARTICULAR BY: A) THE PROVISION OF A DROP IN AND BEFRIENDING SERVICE OFFERING SUPPORT, UNDERSTANDING, COMPANIONSHIP AND SIGNPOSTING, INFORMATION AND ADVOCACY SERVICES IN A SAFE, CONFIDENTIAL AND NON JUDGEMENTAL ENVIRONMENT. B) RAISING AWARENESS AMONG THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF ISSUES RELATING TO THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD MENTAL/EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH ACTIVITIES OR INFORMATION AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DEEM APPROPRIATE.
