TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE CITY OF LEEDS AND ELSEWHERE AND IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION AND PROPAGATION OF THE GOSPEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES, PRINCIPLES AND USAGES OF THE UNITED REFORMED CHURCH, THE FURTHERANCE OF HEALTH, THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS.
