By providing guidance and support to those recovering and their families by their participation in the health recreation of sports, organising activities such as fun runs and football and Golf and fishing tournaments, family fun days for their families to promote the family back to normal life

Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO PROMOTE THE REHABILITATION OF THOSE RECOVERING FROM ADDICTIONS TO DRUGS, ALCOHOL AND OTHER ADDICTIONS BY:- 1. PROVIDING ADVICE AND SUPPORT TO THOSE RECOVERING AND THEIR FAMILIES; 2. PROMOTING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTH RECREATION BY ORGANISING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS FUN RUNS AND FOOTBALL TOURNAMENTS OPEN FOR THOSE RECOVERING FROM ADDICTION AND THE WIDER PUBLIC TO HELP THEM INTEGRATE BACK INTO SOCIETY; AND 3. ARRANGING FAMILY DAYS OUT FOR THOSE RECOVERING FROM AN ADDICTION. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
