Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO PROMOTE THE CARE AND UPBRINGING OF CHILDREN LIVING IN CLEOBURY MORTIMER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: A) PROVIDING PARENTING SKILLS COURSES FOR PARENTS/CARERS B) PROVIDING SAFE GROUP PLAY AND OTHER ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO SUPPORT CHILDREN’S SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT; C) PROVIDING ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH OF CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS; D) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 2) TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 30 LIVING IN CLEOBURY MORTIMER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; 3) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF CLEOBURY MORTIMER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. 4) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN CLEOBURY MORTIMER AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY PROVIDING RESOURCES AND DELIVERING ACTIVITIES TO ENABLE YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES TO EXPLORE ISSUES OF LIFE AND FAITH.
