Activities - how the charity spends its money
The CIO provides assistance to Biafran People disadvantaged because of their Biafran heritage. This is predominantly provided by way of healthcare and financial assistance directly to Biafran People and indirectly by providing funds to local services which offer healthcare and financial assistance thus leading to providing more permanent and sustainable services to help beneficiaries.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 4.1. THE PREVENTION AND/OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONG BIAFRAN PEOPLE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS AND RELATIVES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROVIDING GRANTS, ADVOCACY AND ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY AND BY IDENTIFYING FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO POVERTY AND/OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND TAKING ACTION TO MITIGATE THESE; AND 4.2. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG BIAFRAN PEOPLE AND THEIR DEPENDENTS AND RELATIVES.
