Objectives are the relief of sickness and preservation and protection of good health by: a) providing trained volunteers to attend medical emergencies in the area of Harrogate as directed by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust prior to the arrival of ambulance clinicians; b) provide training and familiarisation in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and lifesaving treatment
