Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONG THE PATIENTS OF FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: I. MOBILISING, ENCOURAGING, FOSTERING, AND MAINTAINING THE INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC IN THE PATIENTS AND THE SUPPORT OF THE WORK OF THE FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES BY MEANS OF VOLUNTARY SERVICES. II. PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSES OF SUPPLEMENTING IN SUCH MANNER AS THE CHARITY MAY THINK FIT, THE RESOURCES OF THE FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES III. RECRUITING AND ASSISTING IN THE RECRUITMENT OF VOLUNTARY WORKERS IN AND FOR THE FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES. IV. PROVIDING A LINK BETWEEN THE FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES AND THE COMMUNITY WHICH THEY SERVE. V. CO-OPERATING WITH ALL OTHER BODIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FAVERSHAM COTTAGE HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTRES. VI. ENCOURAGING INTER-COMMUNICATION AND CO-OPERATION WITH OTHER LEAGUES OF FRIENDS OF HOSPITALS AND OTHER SIMILAR BODIES.
