THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF AGE, INFIRMITY, ILLNESS OR DISABILITY LIVING IN THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA BY THE PROVISION OF A MEALS ON WHEELS SERVICE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE UNABLE TO PREPARE HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS THEMSELVES THEREBY HELPING THEM TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY IN THEIR OWN HOMES.
