THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL HERITAGE OF THE NORTH PENNINES B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR ARCHAEOLOGICAL SKILLS C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL ON THE SUBJECT OF ARCHAEOLOGY BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE INCLUDING THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF THAT SUBJECT AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS.
