Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE: 2.1 TO PROMOTE THE UPHOLDING AND PROPER ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 2.1.1 ADVANCING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF LEGAL PROFESSIONALS, INCLUDING THOSE TRAINING TO BE LEGAL PROFESSIONALS, IN ALL SUBJECTS AND SKILLS, WHETHER IN THE LAW OR OTHERWISE; 2.1.2 PROVIDING PRO BONO LEGAL SERVICES AND ENCOURAGING, SUPPORTING AND ADVISING LEGAL PROFESSIONALS IN THE PROVISION OF PRO BONO LEGAL SERVICES; 2.1.3 ADVANCING THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS UNDERTAKING CHARITABLE VOLUNTARY WORK IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW, EDUCATION, SOCIAL SERVICES, COMMUNITY WORK AND OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY; 2.2 TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND SUFFERING OF PERSONS IN NEED BY GIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR OTHER SUPPORT TO PRESERVE THE GOOD HEALTH AND GENERAL WELLBEING OF, AND TO REDUCE THE BURDEN ON THOSE WHO SUPPORT AND CARE FOR: 2.2.1 PERSONS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN FELLOWS OR OTHERWISE REGISTERED WITH THE CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF LEGAL EXECUTIVES; OR 2.2.2 THE DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS LISTED IN ARTICLE 2.2.1; AND 2.3 TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND THOSE CONNECTED WITH IT.
