Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE THE JEWISH RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: • BY PROVIDING A PLACE OF WORSHIP AND ENCOURAGING THE PRACTICE OF ORTHODOX JUDAISM AS PRESCRIBED BY THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF RABBI OF THE UNITED HEBREW CONGREGATIONS OF THE COMMONWEALTH; • BY PROVIDING PASTORAL CARE IN THE LOCAL ORTHODOX JEWISH COMMUNITY; • BY CREATING PROGRAMMES OF JEWISH LEARNING AND EDUCATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH OTHER BODIES TO AID AND STRENGTHEN THE PRACTICE OF ORTHODOX JUDAISM; • BY EDUCATING AND PROMOTING KNOWLEDGE ABOUT JUDAISM AMONGST THE WIDER COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE RELATIONS IN A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY; • BY CREATING AND DEVELOPING SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP AND FOR THE WIDER JEWISH COMMUNITY OF NOTTINGHAM AND NOTTINGHAMSHIRE IN ACCORDANCE WITH JEWISH LAW AS PRESCRIBED BY THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF RABBI; • BY PROVIDING PLOTS AND BURIAL RITES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ORTHODOX JEWISH TRADITION; AND BY CONTRIBUTING TO WELFARE AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE JEWISH RELIGION.
