Charitable objects
The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following, in Pakistan and elsewhere: 4.1 to assist in the treatment and care of patients diagnosed with Thalassaemia, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of financial assistance and support towards equipment, services and facilities, by educating and raising public awareness of Thalassaemia, and by the provision of support for families affected by Thalassaemia; 4.2 to assist in the provision of surgical treatment and care for patients with cataracts, in particular for those who cannot afford the cost of such treatment and care; and 4.3 to relieve poverty and suffering in communities by the provision of food, blankets and other essential items or services to individuals and families in need and by the provision of hand pumps and wells to provide clean water.
