THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS AND THOSE AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PROVISION OF SHORT-TERM ACCOMMODATION DELIVERED THROUGH A HOSTING SERVICE AND BY WORKING AND LIAISING WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO PROVIDE LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS. 2) THE RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS AND THOSE AT RISK OF FACING HOMELESSNESS IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SHORT-TERM WORK PLACEMENTS AND ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT.
