Activities - how the charity spends its money
To advance the public's appreciation of the art of folk music by - providing folk music acts with the opportunity to be able to perform at concerts, festivals and other events - increasing public access and exposure to folk music through developing, promoting and encouraging its practice. The term 'folk music' includes both contemporary and traditional forms.

Charitable objects
TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF FOLK MUSIC BY: 1. PROVIDING FOLK MUSIC ACTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO PERFORM AT CONCERTS, FESTIVALS AND OTHER EVENTS; AND 2. INCREASING PUBLIC ACCESS AND EXPOSURE TO FOLK MUSIC THROUGH DEVELOPING, PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING ITS PRACTICE. THE TERM “FOLK MUSIC” INCLUDES BOTH CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL FORMS.
