Charitable objects
1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:- A) COMMUNITY EDUCATION; B) TRAINING AND LIFELONG LEARNING; C) THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDIVIDUAL CAPABILITIES, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND UNDERSTANDING. 2. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS/FUNDS AT PREDETERMINED PERIODS OF THE YEAR (AS SET BY THE BOARD) USUALLY TWICE YEARLY, TO HELP OUR BENEFICIARIES WITH FUNDS FOR RECREATIONAL PURSUITS OR TRAINING TO BRING THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE TO A REASONABLE STANDARD OR BY PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHERE APPROPRIATE, IF OTHERWISE COULD NOT BE AFFORDED. 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF CITIZENSHIP OR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BY; A) THE PROMOTION OF CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP THROUGH OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY WORK; B) THE PROMOTION OF VOLUNTEERING. 4. THE PROMOTION OF SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. IN THIS OBJECT, ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY OR PART OF SOCIETY AS A RESULT OF BEING A MEMBER OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITY. 5. THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH AND WELL-BEING FOR VULNERABLE ADULTS, PERSONS WITH A DISABILITY, CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. 6. THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF GRANTS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
