THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS:
TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SPORT OF BASKETBALL AND TO GAIN QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE IN BASKETBALL IN ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ROLES; PLAYER, REFEREE, OFFICIAL, OR COACH.
FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE "FACILITIES" MEANS LAND, BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT AND ORGANISING SPORTING ACTIVITIES.
