THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AMONG, AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF, PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM CHRONIC PULMONARY LUNG DISEASE, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, IN EASTBOURNE, EAST SUSSEX AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING SUPPORT GROUPS WHICH PROVIDE INFORMATION, ADVICE AND ORGANISED ACTIVITIES WHICH PROMOTE A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE, SUCH AS SINGING FOR LUNG HEALTH, A SPECIALLY ADAPTED DISABLED PERSON’S ALLOTMENT, WALKING GROUPS AND PULMONARY REHABILITATION EXERCISE.
