TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR HORSES WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION AS A RESULT OF THEIR OWNERS BEING UNABLE TO CARE FOR THEM OR REHOME THEM BY PROVIDING A HOME FOR AS LONG AS NEEDED WHERE THE HORSE'S RETIREMENT, BEHAVIOURAL OR HEALTH NEEDS WILL BE MANAGED, AND WHERE POSSIBLE THEY WILL BE REHOMED SAFELY ELSEWHERE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO EQUINE WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
