1) TO RELIEVE POVERTY GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR FOR FAMILIES WITH NEWBORN BABIES AND YOUNG CHILDREN WITHIN THE AREA OF THE CITY OF LEICESTER AND ITS ENVIRONS.2)BABYGEAR SHALL ACTIVELY SEEK TO USE THE TIME,SKILLS AND EXPERTISE OF UNEMPLOYED AND RETIRED PEOPLE WISHING TO ENGAGE IN VOLUNTARY WORK OF A PRACTICAL NATURE AND,BY THE TEACHING OF PRACTICAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS SHALL UNDERTAKE TO HELP WITH THE LONG-TERM REHABILITATION OF THOSE VOLUNTEERS DEEMED AS HAVING EXTRA SUPPORT NEEDS.
