Activities - how the charity spends its money
We support the lonely and bereaved by providing trained volunteers to befriend lonely people in Chorley and surrounding area by visiting them at home for an hour each week. We host 3 After Loss Groups for the bereaved to help them pick up the threads of a social life. We have over 40 hosted Talkin Tables in Chorley & South Ribble encouraging the lonely and isolated to go out & meet new friends.

Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE RESIDENT IN CHORLEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE ‘SOCIALLY EXCLUDED’ MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF ONE OF MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FACTORS: OLD AGE, ILL HEALTH (PHYSICAL OR MENTAL), DISABILITY OR BEREAVEMENT.
