TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT AND RELIEF TO PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES ARISING FROM THE DIAGNOSIS OR PROGNOSIS OF ILLNESSES IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION TO CHRONIC OR LIFE-THREATENING MEDICAL CONDITIONS IN SOUTH WEST ENGLAND. THESE SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGH SUPPORT GROUPS, LISTENING AND COUNSELLING SERVICES DELIVERED BY APPROPRIATELY TRAINED AND SUPERVISED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLORS.
