Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AT PERIVALE COMMUNITY MANAGED LIBRARY ('CML') IN PERIVALE, IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF EALING. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY PROVIDING, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, LENDING LIBRARY SERVICES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDEPENDENT LEARNING, RECREATION, AND LEISURE TIME WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR ALL RESIDENTS AND PARTICULARLY CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND OLDER PEOPLE. SERVICES WILL BE CO-PRODUCED WITH PERIVALE RESIDENTS, COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS AND STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. THE CML WILL SERVE AND BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF PERIVALE AND ADJOINING NEIGHBOURHOODS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL OR OTHER OPINIONS. THE CIO WILL ALSO SUPPORT ACCESS TO TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AND SIGN POST CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR ITS VOLUNTEERS AND USERS.
