Charitable objects
(1) THE COMPANY'S AIMS SHALL BE TO CREATE A MORE REPRESENTATIVE THEATRE SPACE, AND TO CAPTURE OFT-LACKING DIVERSE HERITAGE AND CONTEMPORARY CONTEXTS IN THE SELECTION OF STORIES, PLAYWRIGHTS, AND PERFORMERS. (2) THE COMPNAY AIMS TO TRANSFORM THE FACE OF CAMBRIDGE THEATRE BY CREATING A NEW PLATFORM FOR MINORITY VOICES, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON BLACK, ASIAN AND MINORITY ETHNIC (BAME) PERSPECTIVES. THE COMPANY WILL PLACE MINORITY NARRATIVES CENTRE STAGE AND TREAT CONTEMPORARY MINORITY ISSUES THROUGH THE LENS OF ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE. (3) THE COMPANY WILL SUPPORT ANNUAL THEATRE AND FILM PRODUCTIONS AT THE ADC, CORPUS PLAYROOM, EDINBURGH FRINGE AND OTHER INDEPENDENT VENUES AROUND THE CAMBRIDGESHIRE REGION. PROGRAMMING WILL INCLUDE PLATFORMS FOR DIVERSE ART INCLUDING SPOKEN WORD AND STAND-UP COMEDY IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER UNIVERSITY SOCIETIES. (4) THE COMPANY WILL CREATE A BROAD ARCHIVE OF PLAYS FROM DIVERSE REGIONS AND VOICES. (5) THE COMPANY WILL FOSTER FRESH TALENT IN WRITING, DIRECTING AND PERFORMING OF PLAYS AND OTHER ART FORMS. THROUGH REGULAR WORKSHOPS AND COMMUNAL MIXERS, WE AIM TO SUPPORT NEW ENTRANTS IN ALL ASPECTS OF THEATRICAL PRODUCTION, INCLUDING PERFORMING AND/OR TECHNICAL ASPECTS. (6)IN FURTHERANCE OF THE COMPANY'S AIMS, COLLABORATIONS WILL BE DEVELOPED WITH OTHER SOCIETIES AND THEATRE COMPANIES WITHIN THE CAMBRIDGESHIRE AREA AND BEYOND.
