TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC BY MAKING OF FINANCIAL GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS INVOLVED IN CANCER AND MEDICAL RESEARCH IN BOURNEMOUTH AND THE DORSET AND HAMPSHIRE REGION AND TO MAKE GRANTS TOWARDS CARE AND PATIENT SERVICES IF REQUESTED BY SUCH ORGANISATIONS. THE RELIEF TO THOSE IN NEED BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR OTHER SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED RESIDING IN BOSCOMBE AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
