TO ADVANCE THE FAITH OF SHAIVISM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE HINDU SEEKERS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. THIS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY: O PROVIDING THE HINDU SEEKERS, A PLACE OF WORSHIP BUILT AS PER RULES LAID OUT IN ANCIENT HINDUTEXTS. O ENCOURAGING EXISTING BELIEVERS (MEMBERS AND ATTENDERS OF THE SHIVA TEMPLE) THROUGH REGULAR WORSHIP AT THE TEMPLE. O ADVANCING THE FAITH OF SHAIVISM IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY BY OFFERING A SERVICE OF EXCELLENCE AND VALUE THROUGH VARIOUS RITES AND RITUALS. • TO PROMOTE AND TEACH TAMIL LANGUAGE WHICH IS ONE OF CLASSICAL LANGUAGES IN THE WORLD TO MEMBERS AND PUBLIC. • TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN LIBRARIES, HINDU MARRIAGE & CONFERENCE HALLS AND POSSIBLY ANNEX ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES FOR PILGRIMS.• TO HELP OTHER CHARITIES OR PEOPLE IN NEED AROUND THE WORLD. THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED, BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR ANY OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN UK AND AROUND THE WORLD. IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT, BUT NOT FURTHER OR OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL THE FOLLOWING POWERS: • TO ORGANISE CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND SPORTING ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OR PARTICIPATE IN FOOD FESTIVALS FOR FUNDRAISING.
