Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF GOOD HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF PREMATURE AND SPECIAL NEED BABIES, SICK CHILDREN AND ‘ANGEL BABY’ FAMILIES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF KNITTED ITEMS. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE ‘ANGEL BABY FAMILIES’ ARE DEFINED AS THE FAMILIES OF BABIES WHO WERE STILLBORN AT FULL TERM OR DIED IN THE WOMB PRETERM. 2) THE RELIEF OF NEED WORLDWIDE BY REASON OF YOUTH, AGE, ILL-HEALTH, DISABILITY, SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PROVISION OF CLOTHING AND KNITTED ITEMS TO THOSE IN NEED. 3) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY THE PROVISION OF KNITTED BLANKETS FOR ANIMALS IN RESCUE FACILITIES.
