Activities - how the charity spends its money
The charity runs the Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, providing support for women facing unplanned pregnancy. Services are free and confidential, and include information and advice on issues relating to pregnancy, parenting, abortion and adoption, the opportunity for a limited non-diagnostic ultrasound scan, and ongoing care and support for women and their families.

Charitable objects
THE PURPOSES OF THE CIO ARE: 3.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BASIS OF FAITH IN THE TYNESIDE AND TEESIDE AREAS AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE UK OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE ACTIVITIES SET OUT IN SUB-CLAUSES 3.1.1.1 TO 3.1.1.2: 3.1.1.1. TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF WOMEN, THEIR UNBORN CHILDREN FROM CONCEPTION, AND THEIR FAMILIES BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MANY CONSIDER APPROPRIATE; 3.1.1.2. TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP OR WHO ARE SICK AND TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS CAUSED THEREBY IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, COUNSELLING AND ASSISTANCE TO WOMEN AND THEIR PARTNERS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE EXPERIENCING UNPLANNED OR UNWANTED PREGNANCY OR SUFFERING FROM ANY PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS, DISTRESS OR POVERTY DURING OR AS A RESULT OF PREGNANCY OR FOLLOWING ABORTION, MISCARRIAGE, COT DEATH, STILL BIRTH, LOSS OF A CHILD, RAPE, OR OTHER SEXUAL ABUSE; AND 3.1.2. SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS SHALL, IN THE OPINION OF THE CHARITY TRUSTEES, PUT INTO PRACTICE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BASIS OF FAITH, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND SICKNESS; THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
