Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (A) THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF SICKNESS IN OLDER PEOPLE AND THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH UNDERPINNED BY AN ETHOS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH AND VALUES, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION THROUGH: (I) THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SUPPORT SERVICES TO PROVIDERS OF RESIDENTIAL AND NON-RESIDENTIAL CARE SERVICES; (II) THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND TRAINING; AND (III) RESEARCH AND THE USEFUL DISSEMINATION OF THAT RESEARCH; (B) ANY OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES UNDER THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SEE FIT. 3.2 NOTHING IN THESE ARTICLES SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND/OR SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
