Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO HELP AND SUPPORT THOSE AFFECTED BY BABY, CHILD OR PREGNANCY LOSS, IN SUCH WAYS AND BY SUCH MEANS AS ARE CHARITABLE WITHIN THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES, AND, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: A) PROVIDING USEFUL INFORMATION OF LOCAL AND NATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES THAT OFFER HELP TO BEREAVED PARENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. B) PROVIDING SUPPORT AND COMFORT ITEMS (INCLUDING OUR PUBLISHED CHILDREN’S STORY) FOR BEREAVED FAMILIES, AND/OR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE EMOTIONAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, PHYSICAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING OF BEREAVED PARENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. C) PROVIDING GRANTS OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS WHO SUPPORT THE BABY LOSS COMMUNITY AND/OR CHILD BEREAVEMENT SERVICES. D) ORGANISING FUNDRAISING AND INFORMATION EVENTS WHICH RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF BABYLOSS AND CHILD BEREAVEMENT ISSUES. E) ENABLING SUPPORT ACTIVITIES IN THE COMMUNITY AND/OR ONLINE TO HELP BEREAVED PARENTS AND FAMILIES.
