TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST THE GENERAL RELIEF OF ALL MENTALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS IN THE COUNTY OF GWYNEDD BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AND EMPLOYMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH A MENTAL HANDICAP WITHOUT DISTINCTION AS TO RACE, AGE OR SEX, OR POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS.
