Activities - how the charity spends its money
We submitted our application on 1st February 2020 and our charity successfully got registered in September 2020. In the month of March 2020, the first lockdown was announced in both UK and Pakistan. The senior-most Trustee of our Al-Mustafa KNA Trust, whose property and Unit Trust shares were to be utilized to initiate the charity purposes was unable to travel due to old age since then.

Charitable objects
1) TO ADVANCE AND PROMOTE EDUCATION: A) OF CHILDREN, WOMEN AND YOUNG PEOPLE FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD ESPECIALLY IN AFRICA AND ASIA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO BY PROVISION OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE DESERVING STUDENTS. B) OF GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO HEALTH. 2) TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS AND POOR HEALTH AMONGST ELDERLY PEOPLE BY GIVING GRANTS TO ELDERLY PEOPLE TO ENABLE THEM TO BUY GOODS OR SERVICES TO HELP THEM OVERCOME THE DEBILITIES (PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES) OF OLD AGE. 3) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD IN SUCH WAYS AS CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT FROM TIME TO TIME IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO BY PROVIDING: A) GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY. B) COLLECTION OF DONATED GARMENTS, SHOES, TOYS ETC AND ASSIST THE NEEDY OF AFRICA AND ASIA WITH THE ASSORTED ITEMS. C) PROVISION OF FOOD ITEMS TO THE POOR PEOPLE LIVING IN UNDER DEVELOPED COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. 4) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE HEALTH OF THE PATIENTS IN THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, SETTING-UP HEALTHCARE FACILITIES AND BY PARTIALLY OR FULLY SPONSORING DIFFERENT ESSENTIAL MEDICAL TREATMENTS. 5) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN NEED IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF WAR OR NATURAL DISASTER OR CATASTROPHE BY SUPPLYING THEM WITH MEDICAL AID, ESSENTIAL LIVELIHOODS AND RESCUE SERVICES.
