THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) THE PREVENTION AND RELIEF OF POVERTY WITHIN RURAL SRI LANKA BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE, WATER PROJECTS AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. (2) SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES FOR THE TIME BEING SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
