TO ADVANCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS WHO ARE PUPILS OR STUDENTS OF SCHOOLS COLLEGES AND OTHER FORMAL INSTITUTIONS OF LEARNING THROUGHOUT THE PRINCIPALITY OF WALES AND OF SUCH OTHER PUPILS OR STUDENTS WHO ARE NORMALLY RESIDENT IN THE PRINCIPALITY OF WALES BUT WHO, TEMPORARILY, ARE RESIDENT ELSEWHERE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, WHILST ATTENDING SCHOOLS OR COLLEGES OUTSIDE THE PRINCIPALITY BY ENSURING THAT DUE ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF SUCH PUPILS OR STUDENTS AS WELL AS TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND OCCUPATION OF THEIR MINDS.
