THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF CATS IN NEED BY PLACING THEM INTO FOSTER HOMES, PROVIDING WITH MEDICAL TREATMENT, BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENTS, PREPARING FOR ADOPTION AND REHOMING AS WELL AS PROMOTING AND RUNNING LOCAL NEUTERING CAMPAIGNS AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS OF RESPONSIBLE ANIMAL OWNERSHIP AND WELFARE.
