Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: (A) TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FOOD AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IN NEED, AND TO OTHER CHARITIES OR NON-PROFIT ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY; (B) TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT, IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF WASTE REDUCTION, RE-USE, RECLAMATION, RECYCLING, USE OF RECYCLED PRODUCTS AND THE USE OF SURPLUS. THE AREA OF BENEFIT IS GREATER LONDON, AND IN PARTICULAR THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH.
