To provide young people to have appropriate equipment for outdoor activities. c. To run an academy for young adults to become qualified in working in the out outdoor industry. d. THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PARTICIPATION IN THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S AWARD, OF SUPPORT AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES WHICH IMPROVE THEIR WELLBEING AND WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE ADULTS.
