City of York AC is a local grassroots Athletic Club catering for beginner and elite athletes, newcomers and veterans alike. We offer quality and friendly training and competitions in a supportive environment providing opportunities for all participants to try all track and field events as well as road, cross country, trail and fell running. We also have an established disability athletes group.

A THE ADVANCEMENT OF AMATEUR SPORT BY PROMOTING ATHLETICS FOR THE BENEFITS OF THE COMMUNITY B) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND RESOURCES FOR THE PARTICIPATION OF ATHLETICS IN THE COMMUNITY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING INDIVIDUAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL BEING FOR ALL IN LINE WITH ENGLAND ATHLETICS POLICY. C) TO OFFER COACHING COMPETITION AND OFFICIATING OPPORTUNITIES IN TRACK AND FIELD, CROSS COUNTRY, ROAD RUNNING, FELL RUNNING FOR MEMBERS, ATHLETES, VOLUNTEERS AND FAMILIES. D) TO ENSURE A DUTY OF CARE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CLUB E) TO PROVIDE ALL ITS SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ALL PRESENT AND FUTURE MEMBERS RECEIVE FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT. F) TO ENSURE THAT ALL PRESENT AND FUTURE MEMBERS RECEIVE FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT G) TO BE NON-PROFIT MAKING, BUT ANY SURPLUSES MADE ARE TO BE RE-INVESTED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE MEMBERS AND PROMOTE ATHLETICS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
