THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: THE RELIEF OF VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE AND OTHERS WITH PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITIES BY SUPPORTING AND PROMOTING SUCH WORK OF THE ORGANISATION KNOWN AS THE ISRAEL GUIDE DOG CENTRE FOR THE BLIND (‘THE CENTRE’) AS IS CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES, INCLUDING THROUGH, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (1) THE PURCHASE, BREEDING OR OTHERWISE ACQUIRING AND TRAINING OF DOGS AS GUIDE DOGS FOR THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED OR SERVICE OR THERAPY DOGS FOR THOSE WITH OTHER PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITIES, AND TO PROVIDE SUCH OTHER SUPPORT, FACILITIES OR SERVICES TO SUCH OF THOSE PERSONS AS THE CENTRE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DEEM FIT; AND (2) SUCH ANCILLARY ACTIVITIES AS ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE FOREGOING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR AND AWARENESS ABOUT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CENTRE AND THE WAYS IN WHICH VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE AND OTHERS WITH PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITIES ARE ASSISTED THROUGH THE CENTRE’S WORK.
