Charitable objects
FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND: (I) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WHO ARE IN FULL OR PART TIME EDUCATION BY AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS, MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES OR GRANTS; OR BY MAKING GRANTS TO CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE EDUCATION; (II) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS IN FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND/OR CHARITIES, OR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP; (III) TO ADVANCE THE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CODE OF JEWISH LAW (SHULCHAN ARUCH) BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING TO SYNAGOGUES AND OTHER RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS; (IV) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF PEOPLE SUFFERING ANY MEDICAL CONDITION BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING TO ENABLE SUCH PEOPLE TO SECURE SUPPORT AND TREATMENT.
