Charitable objects
THE SOCIETY IS ESTABLISHED TO ENCOURAGE THE PERMANENT PRESERVATION OF TOWNELEY HALL, IT'S GARDENS AND OTHER PUBLIC AMENITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY AND THE INHABITANTS OF BURNLEY AND PENDLE IN PARTICULAR.
