Charitable objects
1. TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND PREVENT FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF KEY WORKERS DURING THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS FOR EMERGENCY OR ESSENTIAL ITEMS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT; AND 2. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND SUFFERING BY MAKING GRANTS TO HOSPICES [AND OTHER MEDICAL CHARITIES] PARTICULARLY THOSE AFFECTED BY LOSS OF FUNDING DUE TO THE COVID 19 OUTBREAK. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THESE OBJECTS, KEY WORKERS ARE DEFINED AS A PERSON WHOSE WORK IS CRITICAL TO THE COVID 19 RESPONSE AS DEFINED BY GOVERNMENT AND INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THOSE WORKING IN: HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE, FOOD AND TRANSPORT AND EDUCATION AND CHILDCARE.
