THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE SUBJECT OF THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICINE AND OTHER AREAS OF HEALTH CARE, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR (BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY) BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MUSEUM, AND THE PROVISION OF OTHER EXHIBITIONS AND PUBLIC EVENTS.
